Police and medical personnel rushed to the highway, where they attended to the bus driver before he was taken to the hospital. The crime scene was also tended to while traffic was stopped on the highway, with authorities eventually escorting the team to the airport.
It’s still unclear who carried out the attack or what their motives were. There were claims that the attack was carried out by rival fans, however nobody has confirmed that or provided proof.
Hopefully the police can find those involved and, in addition to punishing them, sort out how and why this happened. Ideally, they’d be able to prevent this from happening in the future.
