Donald Trump Jr. Posts Emails Showing Him Saying He Would 'Love' Russian-Backed Dirt on Clinton
Following the New York Times’ bombshell report that Donald Trump Jr. knowingly agreed to a meeting with a Russian attorney after being promised damaging information about his father’s then-political opponent Hillary Clinton, and that he had been told in an email that the information came from the Russian government’s efforts to elect his father, President Trump’s eldest son on released the full text of the emails on Tuesday, just before the Times published another story about them. The emails show Trump Jr. enthusiastically agreeing to hear whatever dirt his Russian quarry has.
“To everyone, in order to be totally transparent, I am releasing the entire email chain,” Trump wrote in a message posted to his Twitter account.
