It sure looks like the Trump campaign photoshopped a model to make her skin darker
A man named Eric Ming fired off an interesting tweet this morning, alleging Donald Trump photoshopped one of the white models on his merchandise site to look like she had brown skin.
As Jezebel pointed out, the model on the right can be found on jcgstore.com. She bears a strong resemblance to the woman on the left, sharing essentially the exact same collarbone. Fusion’s photo editor, Elena Scotti, agreed, also saying, “That skin tone is not normal. Either a bad spray tan or photoshop, I suspect.”
Fusion, however, can report that we have discovered near-definitive proof that the image is photoshopped by looking at a cached version of Donald Trump’s campaign page.
Here, on August 9, is what the model looks like:
And nearly a month later, on September 6, here is the same model:
Clearly a darker shade.
The Trump campaign has not yet responded to a request for comment.
