The Mooch’s Wife Filed for Divorce While 9 Months Pregnant, Report Says
Classy guy. In the latest episode of the White House reality TV show featuring Anthony Scaramucci, aka “The Mooch,” we learn that Scaramucci’s wife filed for divorce just weeks before giving birth to the couple’s son James.
And where was the Mooch when James was born? Watching Donald Trump deliver a lewd political propaganda speech to a bunch of Boy Scouts, of course.

In a profile of the Mooch published by the New York Post’s Page Six on Saturday, we learn that Deidre Scaramucci, 38, filed to divorce the former hedge fund manager turned White House communications director on July 6. James was born prematurely on July 24. The Mooch did send a text acknowledging the birth of his son, however.
“When James was born, he sent her [Diedre] a text saying, ‘Congratulations, I’ll pray for our child,’” a source told the Post.
This will be Scaramucci’s second divorce, after his first marriage of 23 years ended shortly before he began dating Diedre, who worked at his SkyBridge Capital hedge fund first as an assistant and then in investor relations.
According to the report, “‘The big shift began when Deidre went from being arm candy to [being a mother] and being unavailable for nights out [and hobnobbing],’ the source said. ‘That’s when [Anthony’s] decision to just continue his life as it was and leave her behind really started to take hold.’”
A source told the newspaper that Anthony would tell Diedre “he’s out of her league.” The couple had been married for exactly three years.
Another source told the newspaper that Diedre also mocked Anthony “for being a Trump sycophant” and a “grifter.”
White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway, however, sees the Mooch as “an American success story” who emerged from a blue–collar upbringing to accumulate a current net worth of about $85 million, according to his White House employee disclosure form.
So don’t cry for Anthony Scaramucci. He’s got a lot on his plate. And as an associate acknowledged: “The only one he’s dating right now is the West Wing of the White House.”
Oh, the imagery.
