Virginia Restaurant 86es Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Her Family
In light of the Trump administration’s despicable policy of separating poor children from their parents and locking them in cages, an increasing number of people are fighting back by making it extremely uncomfortable for officials to enjoy their private lives in peace while babies cry without their mothers.
In one of the latest “not in my name” protests, a Virginia restaurant owner reportedly kicked White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and seven members of her family out of the establishment.
Jaike Foley-Schultz, a waiter at The Red Hen in Lexington, VA, posted on social media Friday night that he had “just served Sarah huckabee sanders for a total of 2 minutes before my owner kicked her out along with 7 of her other family members…”
Clean Virginia director Brennan Gilmore then tweeted a photo of a to-do list apparently from the restaurant that, in addition to everyday restaurant activities like restocking booze and S.Pellegrino water, included the order to “86 Sarah Huckabee Sanders.” In case you’ve never had the pleasure of working in a restaurant, the term “86” means to “remove from the menu” or “get rid of.”
According to The Hill, the restaurant’s Facebook and Yelp pages were then bombarded with both one-star and five-star reviews. (Yes, bald-faced liar Sarah Huckabee Sanders apparently has her fans.)
Sanders joins a growing list of Trump administration officials who are being harassed in public and at home by protesters infuriated by the Nazi-like tactic of separating immigrant families and placing kids (and babies!) in detention camps, which experts have described as nothing short of child abuse.
