WATCH: Hillary Clinton finally goes 'Between Two Ferns'
In the era of party bosses and Tammany Hall, a candidate for president would travel around the country to the backrooms of local taverns, kissing the rings of certain key power-brokers in order to secure the votes of this or that constituency. Today, if you’re Hillary Clinton, that constituency is young voters, the ring that must be kissed belongs to comedian Zach Galifianakis, and smoke-filled backroom is the set of the low-budget online comedy show “Between Two Ferns.”
Thus, for the second time since President Barack Obama’s promotion of the Affordable Care Act in 2014, the country gets to watch a major American political figure engage in a 5 to 6 minute passive-aggressive tête-à-tête between two potted plants. It did not disappoint.

Between Two Ferns With Zach Galifianakis: Hillary Clinton from Funny Or Die
“Not to take away from the historic significance of you, perhaps, becoming the first female president but for a younger, younger generation you will also become their first white president. And that’s pretty neat too,” Galafanikis said to a stone-faced Clinton.
Her appearance in the online sketch comes amid recent reports that Clinton is losing support among young voters as more and more of them move to support third-party candidates. Clinton has since dispatched high-profile supporters like Barack and Michelle Obama to college campuses in order to rally the youth vote.
