What Happened When Omarosa Was Fired Last Night?

Tuesday evening was a bad one for the White House. Just as alleged pedophile and Trump-endorsed Republican Roy Moore was being defeated for Alabama’s Senate seate, longtime Trump associate Omarosa Manigault Newman was busy leaving her White House job as…uh…well, whatever it was she allegedly did over there.

In a statement released Wednesday, the White House announced:

Omarosa Manigault Newman resigned yesterday to pursue other opportunities. Her departure will not be effective until January 20, 2018. We wish her the best in future endeavors and are grateful for her service.

Sounds nice and congenial, right? Well, according to White House reporter April Ryan, that’s not quite how things went down.

Before news of Omarosa’s departure was public, Ryan teased:

Once it was known that the Apprentice star was officially on her way out from the White House, Ryan revealed more:

“Firing”? Yup, that’s the SECOND time Omarosa’s been booted out of Trump’s orbit. And she wasn’t just let go—she was allegedly physically removed from the premises:
