Lindsey Graham Is Just Yelling at Members of the Public About Kavanaugh Now

Following a defanged FBI report on allegations that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted multiple women, Kavanaugh’s confirmation seems increasingly like a sure thing. But even on the cusp of victory, Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham’s psychotic—if politically expedient—meltdown is continuing unabated.

Shortly after speaking with reporters about how the FBI’s comically constrained report fully vindicates Kavanaugh, Graham couldn’t help but take a few moments as he left the huddle to act like a complete dick to a protester standing nearby.

“You’ve humiliated this guy enough and there seems to be no bottom for some of you,”Graham snapped at a woman who asked why Kavanaugh hadn’t been given a polygraph test to test his denials about sexually assaulting Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Deborah Ramirez, and Julie Swetnick.

“Why don’t we dunk him in water and see if he floats?” he snorted.

Ah yes, why don’t we use a grotesque, centuries-old witch hunting technique often applied toward women accused of sexual deviancy to cover for a man credibly charged with sexual assault? Way to read the room, Linds.

Of course, even if Kavanaugh were dunked, and even if he ended up sinking like a stone, Graham would probably lead a Republican effort to to put his gun-loving, anti-abortion-ruling waterlogged corpse on the Supreme Court anyway.
