Should People Convicted of Felonies Be Able to Vote?
This November, Florida voters will be asked to decide whether or not to restore the voting rights of nearly 1.5 million men and women convicted of felonies. Florida is one of just three states that permanently strips the right to vote from people with felonies. If passed, Florida Amendment 4 could shake up elections for years to come. In this episode of Divided, we ask if those with a felony record deserve the right to vote.
