Truck fulla onions caught fire o'er on Frying Pan Road
If you were driving east on Interstate 40 on Tuesday, chances are you hit a bit of traffic around Amarillo, Texas and got to enjoy the aroma of a whole mess of onions burning because a semi-truck trailer full of onions caught fire out near Frying Pan Road. Occasionally, there is good news.
According to News Channel 10, a tire blowout caused sparks to flare up and set the trailer ablaze and onions got everywhere:

Onions spilled out across the highway and the flames spread into the nearby ditch.
The semi driver was able to detach from the flame-engulfed trailer and drive to safety.
Eastbound lanes were shut down as the situation was handled and cleaned up.
There were no injuries reported.
