Trump Reportedly Gets a 'Propaganda Document' About How Great He Is Every Single Day

If you think, after that two failed attempts at repealing Obamacare, being in the crosshairs of a grand jury investigation about his ties to Russia, and having his mammoth panty line caught on camera, that Donald Trump is in need of some good news. Boy, are you ever wrong.

Because good news is exactly what Trump receives, twice a day, packaged in a folder for him by the White House communications team, according to a new report by Vice News.

Citing “three current and former White House officials,” Vice claims that the folders contain “screenshots of positive cable news chyrons (those lower-third headlines and crawls), admiring tweets, transcripts of fawning TV interviews, praise-filled news stories, and sometimes just pictures of Trump on TV looking powerful.”

Yep.

So basically, folders full of this.

The Vice piece has some pretty juicy—and very specific—details about the “Propaganda Document,” as some staffers reportedly refer to it. (The White House said the report was inaccurate, but didn’t say how it was inaccurate.)

Among them: these folders are put together with the help of the Republican National Committee’s War Room, which Vice says has expanded from four to 10 people since winning the election.

And what of the days when rave reviews of Trump were nowhere to be found?

On days when there aren’t enough positive chyrons, communications staffers begin asking the RNC staffers for flattering photos of the president.
“Maybe it’s good for the country that the president is in a good mood in the morning,” one former RNC official said.

Whew. So the next time you’re having a bad day, just tap someone at work to hand you a folder of you eating a salad over your work desk, looking powerful. Like trolling your enemies on Twitter, it’s the presidential thing to do.

And now, some pictures of our president, Donald Trump, at his most powerful and photogenic. We think he would love these if they turned up in his good news folder. (All images via Getty.)
