PSA: You can play a live game of Boggle on Twitter every 6 hours

So much of Twitter is just word games. Why not use it for actual word games?

@Botgle, or BoggleBot, does just that. As BoggleBot’s name suggests, every six hours it starts a game of Boggle, the word game where you’re given a grid of letters and have to construct words from letters sequentially next to each other.

So, if bot starts like this:

You can play “ELIZA:

And at the end it posts the scores.

The account, which has been around since July but remains criminally under-followed, was created by @muffinista (a web developer named Colin). It’s at once reminiscent of AOL chat room word games and is oddly compelling in its own right. The games start every 6 hours, and last 8 minutes, so keep an eye on it, because it doesn’t give you much warning:
