That time Donald Trump started talking about his penis at the Republican debate
Donald Trump on Thursday addressed the issue foremost on every voter’s mind—the state of his penis. The billionaire presidential candidate said at the Republican presidential debate that, with regard to his own endowment, “There is no problem. I guarantee you.”
The comment came in response to a shot by Sen. Marco Rubio earlier in the week. During a rally in Virginia, Rubio referred to his opponent by saying, “Have you seen his hands? You know what they say about men with small hands?” Rubio then paused and let the crowd laugh before saying, “You can’t trust them. You can’t trust them.”

Trump got his chance to respond at the debate: “He hit my hands. Nobody has ever hit my hands. I have never heard of this. Look at those hands. Are they small hands?” He then when on to say “And he referred to my hands—if they are small, something else must be small. I guarantee you, there is no problem. I guarantee you.”
This is the second time that Trump has made a veiled reference to someone’s genitalia during the campaign. The first was after a Fox News debate last summer, when Trump told CNN’s Don Lemon that moderator Megyn Kelly had had “blood coming out of her wherever.”
Trump is facing criticism from former GOP nominee Mitt Romney over whether he will show Republican voters his tax returns. So far, nobody has asked Mr. Trump to show voters his penis.
