Trump Reportedly Went on Racist Rant Against Immigrants From 'Shithole Countries'

President Trump reportedly spewed his regularly scheduled racist hatred toward immigrants on Thursday when lawmakers suggested restoring humanitarian protections to immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador, and some African nations.

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said, referring to African countries and Haiti, according to two sources interviewed by The Washington Post.

The Post and NBC News also reported Trump suggested the United States instead focus on admitting more immigrants from white countries like Norway, whose prime minister Trump met yesterday.

This latest outburst is not shocking, because Trump is a very, very racist person. It comes just weeks after he reportedly said Haitian immigrants “all have AIDS” and that people from, Nigeria live in “huts.”

In a statement released after the story broke, White House Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah defended Trump’s immigration policies but pointedly failed to deny that he used the term “shithole.”
