Wait, did Kim Kardashian say she might vote for Donald Trump?

UPDATE: In a blog post on her personal website, Kim Kardashian clarified on Saturday that she is in fact voting for Hillary Clinton. “I found that without a doubt, I stand with Hillary,” she wrote. “I’m with her.”

Kim Kardashian West, a feminist who won’t call herself a “feminist” because labels, made an unexpected political statement in the latest cover story of the British magazine Wonderland.

According to The Huffington Post, the Evening Standard, and other outlets, Kim—who appeared on The Apprentice in 2010—explained in Wonderland that her step-parent Caitlyn Jenner may have succeeded in persuading her not to vote Democrat, despite her previous public support of Hillary Clinton.

“At first I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m so Hillary [Clinton],’ but I had a long political call with Caitlyn last night about why she’s voting Trump. I’m on the fence,” Kim reportedly said.

Likewise, I am on the fence about whether it makes sense that someone committed to “all rights for women” would vote for a noted misogynist. Actually, I am not. I have hopped off that fence and am unambiguously standing on one side of it.

Oddly, this revelation doesn’t actually appear in the online version of Wonderland’s cover story, published today. The Huffington Post article states that HuffPo has “confirmed” Kardashian’s quotes, and the Daily Mail suggests the Trump portion of the interview is featured only in the print magazine. (Hmm…) We’ve reached out to Wonderland and writer Eve Barlow in the hopes of explaining this discrepancy.
