A security company office doesn't have any security, gets guns and ammo robbed
The Diamond Group owns a building in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico, and inside of that building were many guns and rounds of ammunition. This isn’t because The Diamond Group is an extremely paranoid group of investment bankers, but rather, because The Diamond Group is a privately owned security company specializing in providing security to federal buildings in New Mexico.
But The Diamond Group, despite their ostensible commitment to security, did not (evidently) commit too hard to securing themselves. According to a CBS Albuquerque report, The Diamond Group was robbed of “40 firearms and thousands of bullets” last week, and the station is reporting that the company itself does not have a security system of any kind.
Even though The Diamond Group provides security for others, sources inside the burglarized building said the building, to include The Diamond Group, has no security system of its own.
Hmm.
We reached out to Albuquerque PD for further information and will update if we hear back.
