One guest who was on hand for Trump the younger’s appearance told Page Six that Don Jr. “said he is interested in running for office, such as governor of New York, but the position of mayor of New York would be less interesting to him.”
Not that Don Jr.’s potential run would have anything to do with, y’know, enacting policies or helping his fellow New Yorkers. Rather, he’s just totally over being a silver spoon-fed business leader.
“Do I want to be behind the scenes and be a mouthpiece and fight back against crazy liberal media? Maybe.” Don Jr. reportedly said. “Going back to doing deals is boring after 18 months.”
The presence of the next generation of Trumps on their father’s campaign has long fueled speculation of an eventual run by one of the president’s children.
Except for Tiffany. She’s got better things to do.
