Ally Shwed is a cartoonist and writer, originally from New Jersey. She received her MFA in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art & Design and has worked with The Nib, BOOM! Studios, and IDW Publishing. Currently, Ally is a professor of sequential art, scriptwriting, & art direction at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Querétaro, México, and is co-founder of Little Red Bird (littleredbirdmedia.com), a visual arts studio specializing in alternative comics.
