It sure seems like Louisville's mayor sent this tweet while taking a poop
At 5:44 a.m. last Friday in Louisville, Kentucky, Mayor Greg Fischer, evidently, was struck by the innovative design of the Louisville Courier-Journal‘s Google Fiber graphic on the front page. So much so, in fact, that he was possessed to take a picture of the front page, write the following tweet, and then post it to his social network:
Good infographic! But, you know, an otherwise unremarkable tweet, seemingly bound to disappear into the ether like all of the other tweets and also your hopes and dreams.
Until yesterday morning, that is, when one Twitter user named Kenny Bloggins made an astute observation: “Fam, did you snap this while you were on the john?”
The evidence seems to suggest this is the case. Note the tiles, the style of which are often found in bathrooms. Note the left hand resting on the lap. Note the distance of the paper relative to the alleged bathroom floor.
Accusations flew in from all angles as the day unfolded, and hit a fever pitch this morning:
are you pooping @louisvillemayor @courierjournal @googlefiber

The Louisville mayor’s office did not reply to requests for comment.
