Spider-Man's actually going to look very…interesting in 'Captain America: Civil War'

When it was first announced that Spider-Man would finally be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans frantically wondered which version of the web-head we’d finally see.

The hope that it’d be Miles Morales was quickly dashed when it Sony and Marvel confirmed that Tom Holland would be portraying yet another, Peter Parker, but there was still a chance that this Spidey might be different than Tobey Maguire’s or Andrew Garfield’s

Now, for the first time, we’ve got a look at just what The MCU’s new Spider-Man will look like and…well, the word “underoos” comes to mind.

Twitter reactions ran the gamut from cautious optimism to bald-faced shade.

I’m happy to see cartoon Spider-Man has joined the team, but sad that he isn’t with his amazing friends Firestar and Iceman.

Compared to everyone else in the newly dropped trailer featuring  basically all of the other Avengers, Spider-Man is decidedly brighter and more animated. Is it a good look? Maybe. It the trailer epic? You decide.
