The AFL-CIO issued a brutal six-word response to Scott Walker’s campaign launch

Scott Walker and unions don’t really get along. As the Atlantic wrote in March after Walker, the governor of Wisconsin, signed in restrictions on labor organizing, and “marked Walker’s return to the union-busting politics that have defined his tenure as a blue-state governor.” With this context, it’s understandable why the AFL-CIO—the largest federation of unions in the United States—felt compelled to issue this scathing six-word response to Walker’s announcement Monday that he’d be running for president.

The AFL-CIO was so impressed by their burn that they retweeted Rolling Stone‘s article about their response. (RT us too, AFL-CIO! ) Good times, all around.
