Wisconsin Congressional Candidate Continues to Peddle Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theories
Wisconsin Republican Paul Nehlen—among the more flagrantly racist, anti-Semitic Congressional candidates running this or any other cycle—has, like a disgraceful number of others, used the fatal February shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School to peddle categorically false, undeniably anti-Semitic, and unfathomably cruel conspiracy theories.
On Monday, Nehlen posted a collage of mugshots to his campaign’s official Facebook page that featured six mass murderers—Dylan Klebold, Jared Lee Loughner, Adam Lanza, James Holmes, Elliot Rodgers, and Stoneman Douglas shooter Nikolas Cruz—with the caption “Can’t be ‘White supremacists’ if they’re not even White.” And then: “As merely 2% of the population of the United States, why are Jews portrayed as Whites when they commit a disproportionate number of mass shootings?”
