The Trump campaign just unveiled a new hat slogan: ‘Make Mexico Great Again Also’ (Seriously.)

Donald Trump and his ilk don’t wear their emotions on their sleeves—they wear them on their heads. Trump’s “Make America Great Again” baseball caps have become one of the most recognizable—and easily parodied—visuals of this entire election.

But now, it seems like Donald’s kinda-sorta-pivot toward a kindler, gentler nativism has produced one of the strangest fashion moments of this entire campaign season.

Ahead of his hotly anticipated speech on immigration in Phoenix, AZ, two of Donald Trump’s vocal supporters introduced their candidate wearing what appeared to be Trump’s trademark “Make America Great Again” headgear.

But wait! Look closer!

Yes, that’s former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani wearing a “Make Mexico Great Again Also” hat.

And he wasn’t alone. After Rudy came Alabama senator Jeff Sessions with the same slogan emblazoned across his noggin, as well.

Across Twitter, confusion reigned.

More than one person noticed the grammatical similarities to a certain really, really, really good looking male model.

According to the Trump campaign, the idea came from Donald himself:

So, there you have it—a few hours for a photo opp across the border, and Trump comes back convinced he can save not just one country, but two.
