Tracy Morgan reunites '30 Rock' in emotional return to 'SNL'

Tracy Morgan made a poignant return to “Saturday Night Live,” hosting the show for the first time since the car accident that nearly killed him in 2014.

Morgan, who has made a substantial recovery, told the SNL audience he’d called Lorne Michaels, the show’s impresario, and told him that he wanted to “come home.” He also reassured them that they had nothing to worry about.

“People were wondering: can he speak? Does he have 100 percent mental capacity? But the truth is I never did. I might even be a few points higher now,” he joked.

Morgan then brought on his former “30 Rock” colleagues, including Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey, to re-create the iconic show in a special new sketch.
