Watch this player get kicked in the back during a post-match interview

Sometimes, you have to do post-match interviews. And sometimes, those interviews comes after you’ve just played a scoreless draw, one that happened to move your team forward in its cup competition. After 90 minutes, you’re exhausted, but whatever. You just need to get through this interview.

And then you take a flying kick to the back.

Oh, lord.

That is Carobobo striker Aquiles Ocanto, whose team had just advanced in the Venezuelan Cup. That really pissed off this Aragua fan, who thought the right course of action was to take a shot at him on live TV.

Thankfully, Ocanto was not seriously injured by that kick, but holy crap.

Ryan Rosenblatt has written about soccer and not soccer for a variety of places. If you are not #TeamTacos, he doesn’t want to talk to you. You can follow him @RyanRosenblatt, but probably shouldn’t.
