Women share stories of sexual assault after Trump's vulgar video

In the wake of Donald Trump’s vulgar and disgusting comments advocating for sexual assault against women, author Kelly Oxford asked women on Twitter to share their stories of sexual assault with her. The response was overwhelming, with Oxford later tweeting that women sent her 50 stories a minute for 14 hours.

One in five women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetimes, a statistic that rises significantly for women of color, queer women, and trans women.

If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, you can seek help by calling the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 800-656-HOPE (4673)
