Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge is about to pop with her second child. Last month, Middleton told a curious volunteer at an east London children’s center she was due mid-to-late April, and an unconfirmed report cited by the Telegraph placed the big day on April 25.
But who cares about her due date when there’s a far more pressing issue at hand: When is the Duchess gonna get her life together and lose that baby weight?!
Now, the U.S. and Britain have a pretty terrible track record when it comes to pressuring new mothers into looking exactly how they looked before they had their first child. Sure, every once in a while, a celebrity will speak out about the unrealistic expectations—but the standards remain ridiculous, and not even royalty is immune to them.
