Here’s what young people, who say they love to cook, are actually cooking
Recent data suggest Americans are eating out at restaurants less and less. And like most things these days, it’s probably young people’s fault.
A new report from Google suggests an increasing number of 25-34 year-olds are staying at home to make dishes from scratch, confirming similar recent findings. Search interest for “best recipes” on YouTube is up 48% year over year, Google says, and “How to cook that” is one of the ten most popular how-to searches on YouTube (behind “how to draw,” “how to kiss,” and “how to tie a tie”).
