Muslims stand up against Islamophobia after Paris attacks
Muslims around the world condemned the attacks in Paris and defended themselves against anti-Muslim bigotry.
As often happens in the wake of such events, some people began using the tragedy in France to warn against immigrants and Muslims.
The response from Muslims and others was swift and widespread. Multiple hashtags like #TerrorismHasNoReligion and #MuslimsAreNotTerrorist sprang up as people pointed out that the actions of a few could not define an entire faith.
