New York preschool warns parents that Lindsay Lohan will be in a classroom with their children

A Brooklyn preschool handed a warning letter to parents this week notifying them that their children would be subjected in the coming weeks not to evaluations, but to troubled actress Lindsay Lohan.

If she deigns to show up, that is.

The Mean Girls star is set to complete court-ordered community service hours stemming from a reckless driving charge at the Duffield Children’s Center in Fort Greene. She was reportedly scheduled to begin Tuesday, but did not show and is scheduled to start at the school Wednesday instead.

The actress must complete 115 hours of service by the end of May.

“Ms. Lohan asked to return to complete her community service and may be placed in a classroom with your child,” reads the letter, obtained by the New York Post.

Volunteers, the letter assured parents, “are never left alone with children.”

Lohan previously volunteered at the school as part of an Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) special.

Several parents told the Post that they are willing to give Lohan a chance, but they weren’t exactly thrilled with the idea.

“Everybody has had their ups and downs and has had their trouble,” parent Shari Cheeks said. “I don’t think she’s terrible.”
