Newt Gingrich loses it during interview with Megyn Kelly, accuses her of being 'fascinated with sex'
Last night, former House speaker and current Trump surrogate Newt Gingrich appeared on Fox News’ “The Kelly File” to talk with host Megyn Kelly about the state of the election. The conversation started off normally—a few questions about Trump’s terrible poll numbers—then took a hard right turn into Crazytown.
Pressed to defend Trump from ten (and counting) allegations of sexual assault, Gingrich went on the offensive against Kelly, saying “He’s not a sexual predator. I’m sick and tired of people like you using language that’s inflammatory.” He then accused Kelly of being “fascinated by sex,” and attacked the mainstream media (including Fox News, it seems) for not caring enough about public policy and focusing too much attention on Trump’s lasciviousness.
