Young intern who accidentally did a Retweet apologizes

Our tale begins with a man named Nicolas R-V, who saw that Trump opponent Ben Carson was leading in Iowa according to a new Quinnipiac poll. Nicolas decided not only to tweet what he thought of Iowa Republicans who supported Carson, but also to tag Trump:

The tweet, which implies that agriculture giant Monsanto’s GMO products have made Iowan brains a little off, garnered a handful of retweets and favorites. But, it was also manually retweeted by Trump’s account to his 4.64 million followers. This raised eyebrows since it’s probably not the best idea to mock voters in the very state where you hope to win the first caucus in the country.
