Edith Murway-Traina, a 94-year-old Tampa-area resident, is likely the oldest female powerlifter in the U.S. She started three years ago at the recommendation of a friend, she told Fox13 Tampa.
A year later, she apparently set a world record for her age by dead-lifting 135 pounds. Check it out:

She’s doing all this despite the fact that she now has lung disease, Fox13 says.
“I have it so under control I don’t even realize anything’s wrong at all,” Traina said. “I’m looking forward to doing at least 200 pounds by the time I’m 100 so I can celebrate my centennial.”
