Cool, fun guy Ricky Gervais hosted this year’s Golden Globes ceremony for a fourth time. In typical cool, fun guy style, the British comedian managed to cover a lot of ground in his cool, fun opening monologue: He deadnamed Caitlyn Jenner, speculated as to the placement of Jeffrey Tambor’s genitals on the Transparent set, and mimed the insertion of a Golden Globe into his rectum. Among other things.

How’d Gervais’ speech go over with his star-studded audience? Well, you know what they say: A picture is worth a thousand words, so depending on the exchange rate, a GIF has to be worth at least, like, three million words, right? Here goes.

(Technically, this last moment took place a few minutes later, during Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill’s liberally bleeped Revenant bear sketch, but we couldn’t resist. Jane Fonda gets us.)
