Black Lives Matter activist Deray Mckesson has raised money faster than any other Baltimore mayoral candidate
Just a month after Black Lives Matter activist announced he was running for mayor of Baltimore, station WBAL reports he’s raised more money faster than any of the other candidates in the race.
Mckesson managed to raise $223,000 in the course of six weeks, “three-weeks less than anyone else used to raise [that level of] money,” the station said. On Wednesday, Mckesson announced he’d raised more than $240,000 from nearly 5,000 donors.
