Charges dropped against 100 Baton Rouge protesters, including DeRay Mckesson
Baton Rouge officials have dropped the charges against activist DeRay Mckesson and most of the people arrested during the protests last week.
According to a statement by East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar C. Moore III on Friday, the charges were dropped against 100 of the approximately 185 people arrested. Four protesters remain in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison “due to other matters,” the statement read.
