Oh hell yeah, Enya’s back, baby!!!

Get excited everybody–the queen of forest-conjuring new age music is making a comeback this year. Enya is releasing a new album after seven years away, and she promises that it will include fitting follow-ups to her biggest hits. Who could forget “Orinoco Flow”?:

Here is the first single from the new album, “Echoes in the Rain.” Soak it up:

The mysterious Irish folk singer/wood nymph’s return into our lives is an emotional moment for some of us.

“I’m so happy, thank you very much Enya. The world is nothing without you and your fantastic music. I love you Enya! <3 <3 <3" wrote one fan on YouTube. "First beat I heard, I wanted to cry! I love you Enya! You are amazing" wrote another. Enya told the BBC today her music was too complex to be performed live during the late ’80s and early ’90s, at the peak of her career. But with the help of modern technology she said it would be possible to do with the new album, though she’s not promising live concerts.

“But now it is very, very possible. You see wonderful concerts. There are orchestras there, choirs there, so it’s a different time,” she said.

It is a different time, but we’re ready to bring out our new age gem stones and violet flames in your honor Enya. The new album, Dark Sky Island, will be released on Nov. 20 through Warner Bros.
