Racist White Man Berates Women for Speaking Spanish in Las Vegas
In the United States of Donald Trump, lots of white people are openly and proudly embracing their racism as they continuously berate others for speaking Spanish in public.
In the latest incident, an unidentified grumpy racist was filmed telling two women in the Southern Highlands community of the Spanish-named city of Las Vegas to “go back to where you came from.” A video of the exchange was shared on social media by writer and activist Shaun King.

In the brief exchange in a supermarket parking lot, the man appears to have confronted a Latina woman and her mother. The daughter calls the man a racist, to which he responded, “Yes, I am. Very much so.” Ok, then.
“Stay away from my mom,” the victim said. “Go over here, I don’t want him to touch you,” she told her mother in Spanish.
The alleged perpetrator then said he would go back to Ohio, where he is from. “We don’t like you people there,” he added.
Another reason this man might be so angry about being in Nevada right now is that Democrats just cleaned house there in the recent midterm elections. Democratic Rep. Jacky Rosen unseated Republican Sen. Dean Heller in the race for the Senate, while Democrats also won three out of four districts in the House. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Steve Sisolak beat Republican Adam Laxalt by more than 4%. (Laxalt was the guy who was dragged in the press by 12 members of his own family.)
Democrats also won the office of attorney general, six seats in the state senate, and 27 in the state assembly.
According to The New York Times, Latinx voters make up 28% of the state electorate.
