Sorry, 'Game of Thrones' fans: The domain name red.wedding is already taken

To the delight of overachieving engaged people everywhere, the web domain .wedding becomes available for registration today. But if you were hoping to land a URL that doubles as a choice Game of Thrones reference, it appears that someone (an HBO marketing exec? author George R.R. Martin? a member of the Stark family who’d prefer to remain anonymous?) has already got you beat. Red.wedding is taken.

The so-called Red Wedding is one of the most infamous events in Martin’s fantasy book series-turned-HBO tentpole. In accordance with international spoiler law, we can say no more.

We do have good news for Nia Vardalos, if she’s reading this: mybigfatgreek.wedding may still be available.
