CNN’s coverage of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has been groan-inducing for weeks now. No matter what else is happening in the world or what time of day it might be you can bet that if you turn CNN on, you’re guaranteed to see something uninformative and plane-related. The network has been roundly criticized for its wall-to-wall coverage for good reason. Below we’ve compiled some of the most outrageous and offensive moments from CNN’s still-ongoing coverage.

1) Zombie Plane

Here’s CNN asking whether deadly fumes or smoke created a “Zombie Plane.” It’s clear that they just wanted the opportunity to use the term “Zombie Plane.” It’s not in good taste.

2) PING!

If there’s one thing CNN loves reporting on, it’s the pings related to Flight 370. No one knows what a “partial ping” is and the information is useless.

3) Bermuda Triangle Conspiracy Theories

Don Lemon, on air, asked guests whether “it’s preposterous” to think that perhaps the missing plane was swallowed by a black hole or disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle. Yes, Don. Preposterous is exactly what it is, especially since the Bermuda Triangle is located on the other side of the planet.

4) Some Objects May Be Bobbing In Ocean

So what you’re saying, CNN, is that maybe some objects related to the plane might have been found but it’s possible they haven’t been found. But either way there’s stuff bobbing up and down in the ocean. Got it. Keep the updates coming.
