The White House just renamed America's tallest mountain
In yet another sign that the world as we know it is changing more swiftly than we could ever hope to contemplate, the White House announced on Sunday that it is changing the name of Mt. McKinley, the tallest mountain in North America. The mountain will now be referred to as Mt. Denali, which is what the indigenous people of Alaska were calling it before a random gold prospector named it after President William McKinley in 1896.
