Trump's Doctor Claims Goons Took All of Trump's Medical Files From His Office
President Donald Trump’s weird-ass former doctor is back with some weird-ass allegations about some weird-ass shit he says Trump’s former bodyguard pulled during the first weeks of his presidency.
Speaking with NBC News, Dr. Harold Bornstein claimed that Keith Schiller—who, at the time, was serving as the White House Director of Oval Office Operations—and Trump Organization attorney Alan Garten arrived at his Manhattan office on February 3, 2017, just days after Trump became president. There, Bornstein said, they proceeded to spend nearly half an hour creating “a lot of chaos” as they searched for—and eventually left with—all of Trump’s medical files.
According to Bornstein, the White House representatives did not provide the requisite HIPAA paperwork necessary for a doctor to authorize handing over any medical records for their client. NBC reported that Schiller did bring a letter from Trump’s then-White House doctor Ronny Jackson—best known now for his doomed attempt to become Veterans Affairs Secretary—although it’s unclear whether that letter included the HIPAA forms.
