A U.S. man claiming to be a missionary was arrested in Uganda after repeatedly assaulting and berating a hotel staff member in the name of “Jesus.”
In the video, Taylor is seen chasing the hotel staff member around the lobby and yelling, “You hate Jesus? You hate yourself? You hate me? You disgrace Jesus?” Taylor throws several punches at the man’s head, but the victim remains incredibly calm and refuses to return the blows.
“C’mon, bitch,” Taylor taunts, before threatening to kill the man. As another man steps in to intervene, Taylor turned toward the person filming, middle finger raised, and said, “Fuck Uganda.” He added, “I’ve come to help Uganda, but Uganda hates Jesus.”
Turning to the man in a blue shirt who tried to intervene, Taylor attempts to embrace him, then says, “No, you obey what I say. I don’t obey you.” He then turned to the victim a called him a “[N-word] bitch.”
According to the Kampala Dispatch, Taylor confessed to police, but said he had a “medical condition that made him lose his temper and senses.”
