Watch Kanye West get booed for saying he would have voted for Donald Trump

Welcome back to another edition of Oh wow, Kanye West said some dumb shit, once again testing the limits of his fans. Last night, at the San Jose stop of the Saint Pablo Tour, the man who misses the old Kanye waxed poetic about politics. He first doubled down on his own supposedly impending 2020 campaign, which, anything is possible now! He then admitted that he didn’t actually vote this year, but if he had, he would have voted for President-elect and real star of the “Famous” music video, Donald Trump. Naturally the crowd booed.

He explained himself from his lonely flying stage, “That don’t mean that I don’t think black lives matter. That don’t mean I don’t believe in women’s rights. That don’t mean I don’t believe in gay marriage.” Okay, but it does mean that he’s probably not actually committed enough to these causes to do the bare minimum about it.

I guess it makes sense seeing as both men are celebrities who understand how to rile up a crowd by any means necessary, but still, West has come a long way since tweeting about voting Democrat in the 2014 midterm elections.
