Would you pay $200 to build someone a treehouse?

If you are a handy resident of Bellingham, Wash., and have a few hundos burning a hole in your pocket, you might want to consider building someone else a treehouse. It’s a great deal, you can live in it and everything—for a while.

A beautiful ad, posted to (where else?) Craigslist, under the “apts/housing for rent” section (where else?) details the offer, which includes the line “I will be very reasonable.”

“You will be living off grid. I will install a simple sand point well for water, a pump and a holding tank. I will provide a diesel generator that can be used to recharge 12 volt batteries that will provide your lighting and other basic needs. The treehouse would contain a small wood stove and heat will be via wood from the property.”

The poster also “would love a sauna,” and, more ambitiously, “a small community of tree dwelling farmers.”

The post is already a week old, so if you are interested in this possibly fake or very dangerous opportunity, reach out now.
