There’s a museum shaped like Noah’s Ark in Kentucky called the Ark Encounter. Every night, it’s lit up with the colors of the rainbow. But creationist and owner Ken Ham wants to be clear: it is NOT!!!! a celebration of the gay community!!!! Instead, he tweeted, it is a reminder “that God owns the rainbow & is a sign of His covenant.”

Hmmm. What did others think?

Later, Ham explained in a storm of tweets why the rainbow is definitely not a gay rainbow.

“The rainbow is a reminder God will never again judge the wickedness of man with a global Flood—next time the world will be judged by fire,” Ham tweeted.

Twitter had fun with that one, too.

And that wasn’t all.

“Christians need to take back the rainbow as we do @ArkEncounter,” he continued. “God owns it-He decreed it’s a sign of His covenant with man after the Flood.”

“We now have the new permanent rainbow lights @ArkEncounter so all can see it’s God’s rainbow & He determines its meaning in Genesis 6,” Ham continued.

Now, what Ham—who also owns a Creation Museum through his organization Answers in Genesis—conveniently leaves out is that this boat (gay or not) is the center of an ongoing battle over taxes.

Adults have to pay $40 for a one-day ticket to the museum—but Ham might not have to pay any taxes on the tickets, or the museum at all because he gamed the system and claims the museum and the land it’s on as non-profit, the Huffington Post reported.

All in a day’s work for the gay, tax-dodging super boat!!!!
