Ben Carson made the start of the GOP debate hilariously awkward

Saturday night’s Republican presidential debate had many memorable moments, but the best came right at the beginning, when, for reasons only known to himself, Ben Carson didn’t walk on stage and let every other candidate walk past him with extreme awkwardness.

It was a scene made almost beautiful by its sheer insanity.

In the history of debates, have you ever seen something messier? Wait, don’t ask Marco Rubio that.
