Often, the Democratic Party has trouble on the social media platform known as Twitter dot com. But today, the Colorado Senate Democrats showed how it can be done with these extremely good tweets about Narc Sessions’ new policies cracking down on legalized weed:

This is effective messaging! The only thing that fuels Sessions’ decision to amp up the War on Drugs is his desire to lock up people of color. And, as the Colorado Democrats point out, marijuana tax revenue can help fund progressive programs. Given that 64% of Americans are in favor of legalizing weed, it’s a no-brainer that Democrats across the country should follow the Colorado Democrats’ lead, take a strong stand on this issue, and learn how to do tweets that are not terrible.
