Celebrities, like all humans, pretty up their selfies before posting them on Instagram. This is the way of the world. But while some stars have elevated this practice to an artform, others struggle to keep up.

Lindsay Lohan, this is an intervention.

Last night, the formerly troubled former child star shared an obviously (and clumsily) edited self-portrait on Instagram. Check out the warped door — that’s no doubt a casualty of adjusting the photo to make her butt appear bigger and her thighs smaller.

Lohan is a repeat offender, as evidenced by this post from January.

The shampoo bottle in front of her abs is bending like it’s aboard a spaceship succumbing to the gravitational pull of a nearby black hole.

Linds, honey, we love you. We are here for you. We appreciate you. But these rookie mistakes are a bad look. We don’t know what selfie app you’ve been using, but it’s time for a change: Photowonder, YouCam Perfect, Skinny Camera, and Selfie are all worth a test drive.

You might also consider enrolling in a free computer class at your local library (they’re not just for senior citizens!), hiring an assistant whose entire job is making sure you don’t look like a goofball on the Internet, or asking your old pal Kim for some pointers.
