Mar-a-Lago Is a Shithole?
Mar-a-Lago, which costs $200,000 to join and is owned by the president of the United States, was cited for poor maintenance and multiple kitchen violations in November of last year, according to the Miami Herald. Is the president of the United States running a shithole or something?

Trump’s club, located on a beachfront property where the historic main house was built in the 1920s for cereals heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post, was cited Nov. 8 for two violations deemed high priority: the lack of smoke detectors capable of alerting the hearing impaired through flashing bright lights; and slabs of concrete missing from a staircase, exposing steel rebar that could cause someone to fall.
The November 8th inspection also turned up 15 kitchen violations, which included storing a case of hot dogs on the ground of a walk-in freezer, which you are apparently not allowed to do. This isn’t the first time the kitchen at Mar-a-Lago, which costs $200,000 to join and is owned by the president of the United States, has been cited for improper food storage.
As the Herald also reported in April of 2016, inspectors found improperly treated raw fish and food being stored in two broken coolers just days before Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Mar-a-Lago, which costs $200,000 to join and is owned by the president of the United States, for an official state visit.
While the kitchen passed its November inspection, the club had to undergo emergency repairs in order pass inspection later that month.
Is Mar-a-Lago, which costs $200,000 to join and is owned by the president of the United States, a shithole? A shithouse? By all means, have your say in the comments.
